Bug 208820 – sys-libs/pam-0.99.9.0 modules fail on missing symbols

Latest update on PAM 0.99.9 fails with following errors in system logs:

As a result, disk shares no longer work to the machine through samba.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge pam
2. connect with samba to the machine
3. fails miserably



Expected Results:  
Samba should mount a disk share and not give any errors.

Have you restarted samba after updating PAM to 0.99.9.0?

I just reloaded it. After restart, it started working! Thanks for that tip!
