As suggested in the gentoo.org home page, I report here my request for next gentoo livecd 2008.0: PLEASE include modules for netgear wifi card, expecially wg311T. if I could use wired net to download modules before... I hadn't the need for a wifi card on my pc at all. and please, write a little doc with a list of the most common modules, with their names and what they are ment for.

livecd is not able to recognize netgear wg311t card so I cannot install gentoo!

What driver does this use? Is it in the kernel? Does it require an external module package and/or firmware?

It's an Atheros chipset...
