![]() Maybe other option could be create a new ebuild for installing only this lib. This ebuild could be used in both arches :-/ i do agree with gtklibs including. Are we certain that libgtkmozembed.so doesnt require a whole lot more stuff from seamonkey-bin ? Did anyone test with only that file and not the rest? Is there any easy test of the html functionality in acroread? I don't know how to test it :-/, maybe printing herd (that maintains acroread) would know more and should be added to CC list :-| (In reply to comment #3) > Are we certain that libgtkmozembed.so doesnt require a whole lot more stuff > from seamonkey-bin ? Did anyone test with only that file and not the rest? Taken from the adobe blog: http://blogs.adobe.com/acroread/2007/09/adobe_reader_811_faqs.html Note: On 64-bit systems you need a proper installation of 32-bit XULRunner, Firefox or Mozilla. Copying only 32-bit libgtkembedmoz.so is not sufficient. (In reply to comment #3) > Is there any easy test of the html functionality in acroread? The easiest test is to fire up the adobe reader help by pressing F1, it should complain if libgtkembedmoz.so isn't found, else it should display a working html based help. Yes, reading faq is clear that this wouldn't be enough Closing then __ Anyway, also with seamonkey-bin it doesn't work for me (Adobe sucks :-S): Unable to find the HTML rendering library... |
