Upstream patch for alsa-lib (worth including before next rc?) http://hg-mirror.alsa-project.org/alsa-lib/raw-rev/a601abfe5b09 This is an alsa bug, not a java one (but it affects java...) Thanks for the patch link. I rebuilt my alsa-lib and java doesnt crash anymore. You can test it by running the Animator applet from the sdk: cd /opt/sun-jdk-1.6.0.04/demo/applets/Animator epiphany index.html alsa-lib-1.0.16 final works for me, so it better be bumped and not patched the rc2 :) any chance of a version bump? or official (Gentoo) fix? The requested 1.0.16 final ebuilds have been committed to the tree. |
