If I boot to an rc3 cd, I can use my 3com pcmcia nic.

If I boot to an rc4 cd, I can not use my 3com pcmcia nic.

have you started -rc4 with "gentoo dopcmcia" ?

I tried darn near everything. Eventually, I used the rc3 CD and got it going. :-/
