any news? I guess we are waiting for zaptel-1.2.24 and -1.4.9 which include the fix. zaptel 1.2.24 released from upstream with kernel 2.6.24 compile fix: The Asterisk.org development team has released Zaptel versions 1.2.24 and 1.4.9. Zaptel 1.2.24 Highlights * Linux kernel 2.6.24 compatibility * New module parameters for tuning VPMADT032 echo canceller modules * Improved interrupt handling in the wcte12xp driver Zaptel 1.4.9 Highlights * Linux kernel 2.6.24 compatibility * New module parameters for tuning VPMADT032 echo canceller modules * Improved interrupt handling in the wcte12xp driver * Fixed TX/RX stream naming in ztmonitor * Report battery loss on analog FXO ports as a channel alarm (only usable in Asterisk 1.6/trunk) * Added optional ring detection method to better support UK CallerID reception Thank you for your support! Just copy the ebuild and the patch to the new version. This works for 1.2.24. Was wondering if more users could test this ebuild: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204057 before doing a simple version bump to 1.2.24 in the official tree. (in case you're interested in oslec, of course) net-misc/zaptel-1.2.24 in cvs. x86, amd64: please stabilize as this version is needed to build on kernel 2.6.24. Why so hurry? 2.6.24 isn't stable at all hence we don't need to stabilize zaptel so soon. Readd x86 if you think different. *** Bug 207993 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** So we should go for it now. x86 stable zaptel-1.2.24 is not multilib-strict compliant: Files matching a file type that is not allowed: usr/lib/libtonezone.so.1.0 voip, please, take a look at multilib issue mentioned in comment 12. If stabilizing zaptel-1.2.24 on amd64 is not an option at this time: Could at least a check for kernel >=2.6.24 be added to the stable version, and the user referred to this bug? net-misc/zaptel-1.2.26-r1 in cvs. should fix the multilib issue. amd64: please test and stabilize. amd64 finally stable =) all arches done -> closing. |
