I think in kde 3.5.8, there should be no kmenu for kde 4.0.0. But it does, so there are two menus for a same program, for example, a konsole and another konsole. In fact, when run kde 3.5.8, the $PATH doesnt contain /usr/kde/4.0, so two menu have the same program. Its unnecessary to build kmenu for kde 4.0.0.
