You shouldn't specify the full path of the file since the user can specify whether to use gzip or bzip2 to compress the files.  Instead refer to where the file can be found.

New ebuild at bug #245752 should resolve this issue

bug#266288

This ebuild resolves this issue. Please close this bug.
