Version 1 of eselect module
(In reply to bug #183019 comment #17 by Alexis Ballier) > fair enough, but that would mean also providing a simple way of switching > versions (like an eselect module as you suggested) which I currently dont have > the time to write :( so if you could provide one, I could add it. > (and yes, please open a new bug) There has been no need for a change to this module yet, and I doubt if any will arise on my system, as I've done all the testing I could think of. So I'd like to see this in ~ARCH and unison slotted accordingly, so that we can give the whole thing some more testing. It is extremely unlikely to break anything seriously, so go ahead. Or should I first open and depend on a new bug report for SLOTted unison, as bug 183019 is closed without SLOTting, and SLOTTING without an eselect module is possible, while the other way round makes not much sense? well... this has been on my todo list for a too long time; finally added and latest unison now uses slots. eselect-unison will need keywording and latest unison rekeywording Thanks a lot for your work ! arches will need to rekeyword it now ~x86 added ~sparc done Ping ppc! Bug 183019 comment 21 seems to be waiting for you. installs cleanly, unison installs and is eselected. slotted unison passes src_test and seems to work. ~ppc'ed. |
