xemacs-21.4.17.ebuild

Description Sergey Kuleshov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-09 08:56:24 UTC
This patch allows for xemacs-2.4.10 to be built with gtk/gnome support. The
existing xemacs-gtk package seems to be broken (see bug
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16888). So rather than trying to fix that
package, which is older version anyway, I decided to enchance the existing
xemacs ebuild. With this patch ebuld will check values of gtk and gnome USE
variables and enable the required support respectively.

Reproducible: Always

Patch for ebuild.

Mass re-assign of really stale bugs; xemacs herd, please verify the status and
close them if these issues no longer exist.
Comment 3 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-21 17:44:56 UTC
Is this still a problem with the latest version? If not, 2.4.10 is no longer in
portage, so an updated patch would be probably necessary.

xemacs-21.4.17.ebuild

I've been using this ebuild with +gtk and +gnome for at least a year with no
problems. I checked, and the quick-fix and movemail patches appear to have been
applied upstream.
