Created attachment 143040 [details, diff] source code patch to compile with gtk+2.12 There is define NEW_API which hides GtkTooltips structure usage deprecated since gtk+2.12 (http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stable/gtk-migrating-tooltips.html). If that define set then it's possible to compile and start applet. Last touched in 2005. Candidate for maintainer-needed an/or treecleaners? Does anyone in gnome use it or want to maintain it? fix is in tree. I mean this is a "temporary" fix. For real code fixes, please work directly with upstream. I'm sure they'll be open to contribution. |
