The digest-mysql++-1.7.9 file for mysql++ seems to have an incorrect md5sum for
mysql++-gcc-3.0.patch.gz, which causes the ebuild to fail. I was able to install
mysql++ by changing the MD5 sum in the digest-mysql++-1.7.9 file to the actual
md5sum of /usr/portage/distfiles/mysql++-gcc-3.0.patch.gz which would seem to
indicate it is simply a matter of correcting the md5sum. I had the exact same
results on two different machines, one a gentoo 1.2 and a gentoo 1.4 which is
kind of odd because the 1.2 shouldn't need that gcc3.0 patch?

1. cd /usr/portage/dev-db/mysql++
2. emerge mysql++-1.7.9.ebuild

Fixed in 1.7.9-r1 along with other updates.
