Bug 206277

Summary: x11-lib/vte-0.16.9 fails to find XML::Parser
Product: Gentoo Linux Reporter: James Hiebert <james>
Component: [OLD] LibraryAssignee: Gentoo Linux bug wranglers <bug-wranglers>
Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE
Severity: normal
Priority: High
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86
OS: Linux

Runtime testing required: ---
Attachments: config.log from emerging vte-0.16.9

Description James Hiebert 2008-01-17 01:44:04 UTC
While emerging xll-lib/vte-0.16.9, emerge fails during build configuration citing that XML::Parser could not be found. However I do already have dev-perl/XML-Parser-2.34-r1 installed. Seems to be a bug in the autoconf?

What happens:
emerge fails at the following message:
checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool

Expected behaviour:
To continue and build the package

Reproducible:
Always

I'll attach the full output and associated logfiles.
