This is failing for me as well. After a quick look it seems the error is triggered because the gemspec file is "Imlib2-Ruby-0.5.2.gemspec". Note the uppercase 'I' and 'R'. Whether this is upstream issue or problem with Ruby eclass, I don't know... Issue appears to be resolved (for me). imlib2-ruby-0.5.2 installed successfully using: Portage 2.1.4.3 (default-linux/x86/2007.0/desktop, gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.7-r1, 2.6.23-gentoo-r5 ... I can't reproduce this either. This may have been caused by a buggy rubygems version. In any case I'm closing this bug now. Feel free to re-open if it can be reproduced consistently so that we can try to track down the real cause. |
