sys-libs/libfreebob-1.0.3 ebuild
(In reply to comment #2) > Created an attachment (id=141005) [edit] > sys-libs/libfreebob-1.0.3 ebuild > hmm latest libfreebob is 1.0.7, is there a problem with this version ? I have no hardware to test this with, if any other dev out there has something, we could add it easily.. ok now some basic comments (based on libfreebob 1.0.7): - couldn't mmx & sse be made useflags ? - a debug useflag could be good too for a configure switch - I'd prefer using --disable-optimize in econf call so that it doesn't use its hardcoded cflags but rather user set cflags in make.conf (In reply to comment #3) > (In reply to comment #2) > > Created an attachment (id=141005) [edit] > > sys-libs/libfreebob-1.0.3 ebuild > > > > hmm latest libfreebob is 1.0.7, is there a problem with this version ? > Oh, sorry, my bad... The last time I looked it was 1.0.3... Which seems to be *quite* a long time ago. Again, I'm sorry about that, I should have checked updates first. If testing is needed, I have a CME UF-400e Firewire expansion board on a CME UF5 Midi-keyboard, which has worked fine with all versions of libfreebob. Created attachment 141077 [details]

Well, now this should be up-to-date :)
(In reply to comment #7) > Well, now this should be up-to-date :) > libfreebob-1.0.11 is out since 2008-04-11 : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=117802 Simply rename libfreebob-1.0.7.ebuild into libfreebob-1.0.11.ebuild and remplace SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/freebob/${P}.tar.bz2" with SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/freebob/${P}.tar.gz" Works fine with my Edirol FA66 :) Trinine Created attachment 155655 [details]
sys-libs/libfreebob-1.0.11 ebuild
libfreebob is obsoleted by ffado[1] according to the webpage [1] http://www.ffado.org/ it's a different story how jack-audio-connection-kit will play with ffado though libffado compatbile jack-audio-connection-kit ebuilds can be found in the proaudio overlay. This bug is obsolete. Could somebody please close it? |
