Hi, I recently updated to OpenSSH 3.6.1_p2. Everything works fine, but every time I log into the machine, I get a syslog message like these: [sshd(pam_unix)] authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 \ tty=NODEVssh ruser= rhost=localhost user=root [sshd(pam_unix)] authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 \ tty=NODEVssh ruser= rhost=research.cryp.to user=simons Curiously enough, the login is successful, though! Do you have any idea how to fix this?
