Description Thulle 2003-05-07 12:19:35 UTC
when emerging phpMyAdmin 2.4.0 it quits with following;

!!! phpMyAdmin-2.4.0-php.tar.bz2: message digests do not match!
!!! phpMyAdmin-2.4.0-php.tar.bz2 is corrupt or incomplete.
>>> our recorded digest: dcd26212b311a096e1d02aa3156eec1f
>>> your file's digest: c0de061fbc159951a75f70feff4b126e

if i try to decompress the file manually, its reported as corrupt.
if file is downloaded from phpmyadmin.net it works fine.
i will update with mirrors found non-working, currently only
"http://gentoo.linux.no/" and "http://194.83.57.2/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/"
is completely tested

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.linux.no/

I fixed this a couple days ago.

Please delete and re-download the file. If you can confirm that it still isn't working, we'll get in touch with the administrators of the bad mirror.
Comment 2 Thulle 2003-05-07 12:45:46 UTC
Jon Portnoy, its still not working on the mentioned mirror, and
http://194.83.57.2/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ is also corrupt
but there were one more mirror that were corrupt yesterday, but not now.. so i guess its syncing?
Comment 3 Jon Portnoy (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-07 12:59:24 UTC
Okay, we'll give him another day to catch up, and then see if it hasn't synced yet. It _should_ have synced by now, but it might be lagging behind a bit...

Are you still experiencing this problem after deleting and refetching?
Comment 6 Eloi Granado 2003-06-03 11:35:06 UTC
It worked for me since the patch. Anyone with problems with mirrors?

Anyway, I posted another bug report (21845) for another package (squirrelmail this
time) that had the same problem as this one (thanks god this one had also access
denied jail errors that acted as a parachute... :) ). I added some of you to CC. As I said
in the other bugreport, this bug could be common to many of the webapp packages.
