The latest unmaksed ~arch version of regex-base -posix and -compat are all compatible with ghc-6.8 (which is itself ~arch). I expect the problem is that you're using the ~arch ghc (6.8.2) with the stable regex- libs. The stable regex libs (regex-base-0.71, regex-posix-0.71, regex-compat-0.71) do not work with ghc-6.8. The ~arch ones (regex-base-0.72.0.1, regex-posix-0.72.0.2, regex-compat-0.71.0.1) do work with ghc-6.8. We'll see about getting these later ones marked stable since they also work with the older stable ghc version. Yes that is my "problem" ;-) But in the mask info for the regex-base and others, there was a notice that these versions may not work... and a read that these new version worked with ghc 6.8.2 ... So this is just a ... Hey, there is a new version of this .. bug report! Sorry ;-) These were added 5 months ago: * dev-haskell/regex-base-0.93.1 * dev-haskell/regex-compat-0.91 * dev-haskell/regex-posix-0.93.1 |
