It would be appreciated if you could observe metadata.xml when assigning your bugs. Should this be overly laborious due to the amount of bugs you assign, please leave the bug wranglers to do this job.

Chainsaw,

go fight it out with the other devs. Some yell because of bugspam, others are offended by the "mis-assigned" bugs. Some want maintainer only, some maintainer and herd, some herd only. You figure it out, I'll assign according to policy then.
