Hi there,

I might have found a possible regression with the xf86-input-keyboard version 1.2.2. I already filed a bugreport on the wine bugtracker, but I though I would be good to mention the problem here (mainly because it's still possible that the bug is a regression in the keyboard driver).

Input is welcome on this problem. Maybe someone with an old Half-Life installation and currently keyboard driver can verify the bug.

sorry, but there are no active wine maintainers in Gentoo, so you likely wont get any useful input here

you could try getting samples from people on the forums ... i imagine you'd see much better hits there

@Jakub Moc: Bug appears with 0.9.49, 0.9.50, 0.9.51 and 0.9.52 (probably with more versions).
According to Vitaliy (from the wine bugtracker) this is not dinput related. I could also sort of verify this, because it doesn't appear with UT (where dinput can be used optionally).

@SpanKY: Thanks, going to open a thread in the next days. Maybe the wine devs can figure something on their own.
