Re-emerge gawk. This didn't solve the problem.It still exists Well, then perhaps you should sanitize your system so that it isn't broken? For starters, where did your GCC go?

CONVFMTidx is supposed to be provided by the gawk binary itself do `readelf -s /usr/bin/gawk | grep CONVFMTidx` and make sure it is defined |
