When compiling kernel 2.6.23-gentoo-r3.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use the make menuconfig
2.Compile the kernel by the make && make modules_install command
3.

Actual Results:  
The compiling of the kernel stop and says to report the bug.

Expected Results:  
A kernel compiled !

Without information like emerge --info output, complete emerge log and kernel .config, nothing we could debug or fix.
