When upgrading from 2.0-r13 to 2.6.1 the .so version changes from .0 to .1 and as such revdep-rebuild needs to be run. It would be useful to add some elog messages about this.

was suprised you added it, was about to close this one as wontfix.. no need to threat users as idiots imho. :)

Well I don't consider myself an idio but with the new Portage elog functionality I like the babysitting messages.
