silc-plugin-1.0.3 got removed, so my system wanted to downgrade back to silc-plugin-1.0.1-r4. It kept failing because the ebuild wanted automake-1.3, which is also not in portage anymore. WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.5 makes it work.
