It might be better to install the headers in such a way that they're available as a separate package; net-www/mozilla-headers can easily be put in place to take care of mozilla-based applications. After some research, I've found that it's not possible to have Firebird satisfy mozilla dependencies for any functional reason; one can't build something like galeon or epiphany against Firebird, for one thing. Additionally, after conferring with liquidx, evolution now depends on nss/nspr mozilla components, rather than the entirety of mozilla if it is not installed. This should make all sides happy. ;) |
