Description Wendall Cada 2007-12-14 00:18:31 UTC
ejabberd-1.1.3 ssl fails. This bug on the ejabberd site relating to their binary installer has the same bug:
https://support.process-one.net/browse/EJAB-250

I am able to create accounts, but once they are created, the process fails with:
** {badarg,[{ets,lookup,[crypto_server_table,port]},
            {crypto,control,2},
            {cyrsasl_digest,response,6},
            {cyrsasl_digest,mech_step,2},
            {cyrsasl,server_step,2},
            {ejabberd_c2s,wait_for_sasl_response,2},
            {gen_fsm,handle_msg,7},
            {proc_lib,init_p,5}]}

Reproducible: Always

After a recompile with -ssl, ejabberd still fails with the same error. Please advise what specific system information is needed to debug. The ejabberd bug for this is useless, since it doesn't say what the fix is.
Comment 2 Wendall Cada 2007-12-14 00:46:09 UTC
After some more investigation, this is an erlang bug, and not an ejabberd bug. Here is the new bug:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=202207

This bug makes ejabberd unusable, so is related ;)

The Bugzilla product is ONLY for problems with the bugs.g.o site.
Please do NOT use it for anything else.
