When trying to emerge googleearth, the following error occurs:

Expected Results:  
Should have downloaded google earth, I presume.

No idea where did you get the ebuild, but the current one downloads from 
http://dl.google.com/earth/client/current/GoogleEarthLinux.bin and works perfectly fine.
