With video's kind permission, I'd like to ask you to stabilise media-video/emovix-0.9.0 which is the final missing step to get k3b-1.0.x stabilised.

ppc64 stable (don't try to use the resulting CD with a SATA cdrom ^^ it's kernel 2.4.25...)
