I've added 64.5.62.10 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org.
Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org
and post back here when you've done so.  We'll monitor the server 
for a couple days to make sure things are working fine and then add 
it to the rotation.

Also, can you verify that your server is running ntp?

This has been done for awhi1e.  I thought I posted back here ear1ier but I guess not.  NTP is running.

I'm not getting a response from the server.  Is it still available?

We've been having hardware problems with this server.  Due to some internal 
restructuring, we have decided to take down this server completely, and not replace it.  
We will not be providing an rsync mirror at this time.

If at some point in the future you decide to offer a mirror, 
just open a new bug.
