hi, this is a feature request, what about using remote lcd? my idea: I have a server downstairs and a wrt box upstairs running lcdproc. so, a splash client for lcdproc or whatever would be great imho. thank you for your work ;)

ive never used lcdproc nor do i have any sort of hardware to test with

just look at any of the example modules (cobalt, hppa-pdc, etc...) and it should be trivial for you to write the lcdproc piece
