busybox, as build by genkernel, doesn't support the -R option to udhcpc.  I'll attach a patch here shortly.

On a side note, I have gotten unionfs working with 2.6.22 and genkernel.  But since I had to patch the kernel manually (unionfs doesn't support external modules any more), I don't see these changes making it in anytime soon.  If someone is interested, contact me.
