fluxbox cvs ebuild
forgot to add: be aware it will overwrite your current fluxbox install
The Fluxbox 0.9.x series is in Portage. I will not add Fluxbox CVS ebuilds to Portage. Created attachment 11481 [details]

previous ebuild does not work any more. use this instead. take care it's very
dirty. use @ your own risk.
comment out the line that enable xinerama, or with current cvs it could break compilation Created attachment 12368 [details]
fluxbox-cvs ebuild
GCC 3.3 Compilers note this... I know that this is a "wont fix" package for the time being but I chucked together a ebuild before finding this. It actually works off the commonbox eclass and im quite happy with the running of fluxbox on my machines... Note: I did this to get fluxbox to compile with GCC 3.3. There were a few strict alias breakers and a few nls problems. The nls issue could not be resolved with USE="-nls" because it wasnt just a native nls issue but a toolbar menu font issue. This version of fluxbox has neither problem, and this ebuild has compiled with agressive CFLAGS and using nls for me. See next attachment. Created attachment 12678 [details] Ebuild tarball. This is the tar ball for the ebuild described above. It may also be found at http://www.volutin.net/~andrew/GENTOO/fluxbox-0.1.15.tar.gz I have coined this one as 0.1.15 to stay away from the cvs categories, feel free if you choose to use this to rename and re-categories the ebuild. |
