to be sure that files configuration update comes from a net/group-admin (and not from a ebuild update), you can: 1- examine all the specified directory (specified in the file list F.E.: /etc/fstab and /opt/README specify that you have to search in /etc and /opt) for files named ._grp??_cfg????_xyz instead of the usual ._cfg????_xyz 2- provide a tool to create these files thak's The opposite of this is CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK, see man make.conf :) (In reply to comment #2) > The opposite of this is CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK, see man make.conf :) > So sorry!
