The first patch had a syntax error, sorry. :-)
We already have a bug for this, so please continue there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 176081 *** Thank you very much! Your work is very appreciated :) But I rather feel not so good about changing the poppler only in Gentoo .. can we maybe put this into our xpdf-poppler thing or get it upstream in poppler applied? Hejhej, you are welcome :-) And I agree, it is better to either put it upstream in poppler or in our xpdf-poppler. So I made a new xpdf-poppler package, which works without a patched poppler, and I will try to get it upstream in poppler, if it works, it is just a simple matter to change the xpdf-poppler accordingly.
