After the upgrade to gkt+2.12.1-r1, both firefox and thunderbird refuse to launch with the error
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/firefox-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_once_init_enter_impl

Re-emerging firefox does not solve the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge x11-libs/gtk+
2. Launch firefox or thunderbird or seamonkey

Yeah, so get rid of the /home/secchi/* stuff.
Comment 5 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-13 13:23:18 UTC
INVALID, your local stuff breaks gtk+.

Should I recompile the kde libraries, at the end?

No, you shouldn't let local stuff apparently not installed by Gentoo to mess up your LDPATH.
