Description Matthias B. 2007-11-10 15:23:24 UTC
For some reason the maintainer of sysvinit seems to think that Gentoo users don't need the /bin/mountpoint utility. Well, I think otherwise. I have used this in the past in scripts under Debian and want it available under Gentoo, too. So please change the sysvinit ebuild to install /bin/mountpoint and/or tell upstream to change the Gentoo special case in Makefile to install mountpoint. If there's a good reason not to install it on Gentoo by default, then at least add a use flag to let users choose for themselves.

Reproducible: Always

here's a more logical explanation: no one noticed and no one complained
