When trying to upgrade glew to 1.4.0 emake fails to build the package.

I did search both forums.gentoo.org and bugzill, but couldn´t find anyone more than me having this problem. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --sync
2. emerge -uDN glew


Actual Results:

Can you please, do the following for me:

ebuild /usr/portage/media-libs/glew/glew-1.4.0.ebuild unpack
cd /var/tmp/portage/media-libs/glew-1.4.0/work/glew
config/config.guess

and report the output here

and also report the 

uname -a
uname -m

that you get

I am sorry, I cannot help you further as I did a clean install after my system broke completely (not due to this bug though).
