This ebuild generates the denx-kernel-2.6.19 from vanilla-2.6.19 by applying a generated patch. The denx-sources are needed for the PowerPC embedded targets (e.g. sequoia), that are not yet supported by the official kernel. Maybe with 2.6.25 this ebuild will get superfluous. For now on, it is the only working alternative to getting the sources by hand and figure out, how to build it correctly.

I didn't write many ebuilds, so there is much potential to improve it. I tried to follow the gentoo-kernel-ebuild way with patching the vanilla-kernel, but since wdenk don't release a patchset (only the full kernel-source), I generated a patch myself using a mrpropered vanilla and denx kernel. Well, it works. Perhaps talking to wdenk to release patchsets.

Thanks but we are not adding new kernels ATM, sorry. You'll have to wait until it gets merged upstream.
