looks like you have a GCC problem. Splashutils compiles fine here with amd64 This line indicates a problem with your GCC. Did you update GCC recently? configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables also could you please translate the build log to english? > See `config.log' for more details.
Attach the config.log here. Also emerge --info missing. And please set your locales to C when reporting bugs.

That is strange, because my compiler can create executables. I can compile any other package without any problems. Also, I have no problems with older version ov splashutils.
