Description Michael Boman 2003-04-20 09:21:52 UTC
I have modified the honeyd-0.5 ebuild so that it includes libprelude to alert on
any events to the prelude infrastructure

Requires libprelude
Comment 3 Michael Boman 2003-04-20 09:24:31 UTC
Also, it uses a undocumented, unsupported, local USE flag: "prelude". without "prelude" in your USE flag the support won't be compiled in.
Comment 4 solar (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-23 15:29:13 UTC
Global "prelude" USE flag has been added.
Please use (dev-libs/libprelude) and not (net-analyzer/libprelude)

Or if you dont mind me taking care of this, please reassign this bug to solar@gentoo.org

Reassign bug to mboman

I already have a ebuild for it, but need to make sure it's actually reports to the prelude-manager. I won't have time to do this testing until Wed. 17 Dec 2003 (ie: another two days), but rest assured that it's on the top of my ToDo list. (At the moment work-eat-sleep is the only thing on my todo list, doing shiftwork can be a killer).

The prelude patch that exists doesn't work, and requires a lot of maintaince as prelude support is not done upstream. I opted to create prelude-lml rules for the logs instead, as it's much more portable between honeyd versions.
