Kindly post the exact commands/steps to reproduce this bug. (In reply to comment #1) > Kindly post the exact commands/steps to reproduce this bug. > ok 1. open an avi file with File->Open File/Directory 2. wait until the file is loaded 3. select File->Encode Clip As.. 4. choose where to save the file and press ok 5. choose the target encoder (for instance ffmpeg_encoder) and output and audio format (for instance divx and mp3) then press ok 6. press ok again to confirm 7. the error comes out I tried these steps also with others encoder/formats but I always got this error. here it is the log, there are a lot of alsa stuff output that I don't know how to filter out. anyway is not so big. The log is relative to an ffmpeg divx/mp3 encoding
