An init script I've been using for some time now
No it really shouldn't have an initscript; get NM fixed/working with dbus properly. NM 7 works fine with dbus, but only more recent version (dbus-1.1.2) can start services on demand (like wpa_supplicant). Although it works for other distros couldn't force it to work with gentoo. Yeah, I know, I am working on it, unfortunately, I am currently unemployed and rent is more important than starting wpa_supplicant here :) I *am* working on getting it fixed :) Robert - I just checked in the 1.1.3 release, could you sync in a few hours and test if you can get it working then? As Jakub said, an init script is the wrong thing to use here - we need to get system-activation working properly with dbus. |
