scorched3d-41 is out.  The 40.1d ebuild works fine, though I'm not sure if the freealut.patch for version 40 applies cleanly or not - rather than change the name of the patch for the 41 release, I just commented out the src_unpack function.  Having done that, the game compiles and runs fine on my system.
