Description Joshua 2003-04-18 13:00:59 UTC
I am using 1.4rc4 livecd (stage1 only) and have an orinco lucent silver card wireless as
my only means of net access. I cannot make card work. I tried booting first with no
options, then modprobed the various pcmcia wireless modules. No way to get card
recognized (in slackware - same kernel, it is an orinoco.o module). I then tried to load
kernel with dopcmcia option. It then gives beeps, and exits with errors on loading.
After load, any attempt to remove card yields: i82365.o: infinite loop in interrupt
handler....some numbers. It also tries to use the prism driver. Sorry I have no more
specificsm but I will get any info needed. The point it, there seems to be a bug in the
basic pcmcia loading package
