It gets stranger. It turns out that portato disappears simply when you click on its minimize button. And if you click in a certain part of the (supposedly empty) system tray, portato reappears. This is not a bug, but a feature (at least it is supposed to ;)). Portato minimizes to systemtray in normal cases. It seems like you don't have one (for whatever reason - or the icon can not be loaded). In the preferences, open the "Visual" tab and remove the check for "Hide on minimization" (and as systray does not seem to work, you might disable the systray in there too). If normal (other) systray icons show up, there seems to be a bug though... But anyways: This is the wrong place for such bugs: Please use Portato's BugTracker at http://portato.origo.ethz.ch/issues As Necoro said, it's ok and no comment came back, marking as invalid. |
