I was experiencing problems with OOo segfaulting during startup, so I tried to recompile it. I've just upgraded my kernel to 2.6.22-hardened-r4.

Basically, a regcomp fails with a C++ exception (std::bad_alloc).

1. emerge -vb openoffice
