I would go for some other category, like dev-util. It does sounds quite a cool thing to get into the tree though. Hopefully not too alpha still.. Can't the mid-air collision detector be a little bit smarter? Sigh, putting right component and keywords back looking at the screenshots, I find it would clutter my right click menu but that's probably not a good reason to stop it from getting into portage :) Right now it's more a "proof of concept" than really useful. I don't think it is really ready for portage (after testing it for a while). align ebuild requests to same values checking for apr-config... no configure: error: apr-config executable not found - should be installed with Apache Is Apache a new DEPEND? He is not on my desktop ;-) (In reply to comment #1) > Created an attachment (id=132885) [edit] > naughtysvn-0.0.1.ebuild > Hi, I am using Gnome 2.24.2 and nautilus 2.24.2. After emerging naughtysvn no extension is visible in the context menu. I also posted this on GoogleCode of NaughtySVN, but no response so far. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'd recommend nautilussvn[1] as suggested by the nautilus developers[2]. NaugthySVN seems to go nowhere soon. You can find the ebuild at http://rion-overlay.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/dev-util/nautilussvn/nautilussvn-9999.ebuild [1] http://code.google.com/p/nautilussvn/ [2] http://live.gnome.org/Nautilus/Extending the new ebuild is here http://rion-overlay.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/dev-util/nautilussvn/nautilussvn-0.12.99.ebuild you can add whole overlay if you want (see on project page http://rion-overlay.googlecode.com) nautilussvn released as rabbitvcs. its as always in my overlay. layman -a rion && emerge rabbitvcs rabbitvcs-0.13_beta1 is released. works much faster and supports as well thunar and gedit. @developers, i think this bug should be closed as WONTFIX since upstream id died long ago. (In reply to comment #13) > [...] since upstream id died long ago. > What do you mean ? it's not maintained on upstream ? i mean naughtysvn is dead project there are was only one release for 3 years. and already more than year no one commit in project's repository. I would tend to agree. Is there a bug for rabbitvcs? (In reply to comment #16) > I would tend to agree. Is there a bug for rabbitvcs? > no, i'd create one, but i know gentoo developers are usually too busy or lazy and hardly include it in main repo. btw pva said my ebuilds for rabbitvcs are quite good for inclusion, he didn't see last version though (here is direct link http://code.google.com/p/rion-overlay/source/browse/dev-util/rabbitvcs/rabbitvcs-0.13_beta1.ebuild) Thanks. I'll take a look at that when you get the bug open, and resolve this one in favor of that. (In reply to comment #18) > Thanks. I'll take a look at that when you get the bug open, and resolve this > one in favor of that. > ok here it is https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303221 Okay, this bug is closed in favor of bug #303221 |
