Could you please check whether there's an upstream patch to do this properly? *** Bug 194326 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 194334 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** See also: http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/xserver.git;a=commit;h=48b3034d13bbbb69072eb11f4579389cc32b0850 It seems that this needs to be fixed in hal itself. x11-input.fdi is now installed by sys-apps/hal-0.5.10 in /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-x11-input.fdi Is that correct or does it need to be installed by xorg-server when USE="hal" rather than by hal itself? (In reply to comment #5) > x11-input.fdi is now installed by sys-apps/hal-0.5.10 in > /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-x11-input.fdi That is quite correct. I'm talking with the Gentoo hal maintainer right now to also install some preconfigured examples, which should help a bit. |
