I did not have the mentioned package-version, but even after installation, I still have similar compilation problems: rose distfiles # equery list docbook-sgml-dtd [ Searching for package 'docbook-sgml-dtd' in all categories among: ] * installed packages [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-3.0-r3 (3.0) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-3.1-r3 (3.1) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-4.0-r3 (4.0) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-4.1-r3 (4.1) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-4.2-r2 (4.2) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-4.3-r2 (4.3) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-sgml-dtd-4.4 (4.4) rose distfiles # equery list xml-simple-dtd [ Searching for package 'xml-simple-dtd' in all categories among: ] * installed packages [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-xml-simple-dtd-1.0-r1 (1.0) [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-xml-simple-dtd-4.1.2.4-r2 (0) rose distfiles # equery list dsssl-stylesheets [ Searching for package 'dsssl-stylesheets' in all categories among: ] * installed packages [I--] [ ] app-text/docbook-dsssl-stylesheets-1.79 (0) rose distfiles # emerge -uDv libusb These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! Summary updated and passed on to the sgml herd. emerge -1 sgml-common will solve this problem. Also occurs with esound (and I think others, but I don't have a keyword other than sgml-common to go by, which swamps the search in noise). I hope that there's a bug report on sgml-common by someone who understands this catalog corruption - but since it's been around for years, I doubt it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 196162 *** |
