Description Nick Palmer 2003-04-15 15:27:57 UTC
The page located at:
http://homepages.tesco.net./~J.deBoynePollard/Softwares/djbdns.html#tinydns-data-semantic-error
Indicates that djbdns 1.05 has some issues. The page provides three patches
which fix these problems. We should include these with the djbdns ebuild until
they are migrated into djbdns itself.

We definately needed these patches as well, and don't see any reason they can't be included in the default ebuilds
Comment 7 Danyel Lawson 2003-12-14 17:02:38 UTC
Who is responsible for the cvs commits of this package? This package is broken because of the patches and instead of removing the offending patches you are patching the patches.

Franky you need to move the current stable packages to unstable and create a new stable ebuild without the patches since we all know the default djbdns source compiles and runs fine without modification.

Please ignore, delete, erase, cat >/dev/null my previous post and this one too. My apologies to all who work hard on these patches and had to read it.
